I am so happy right now because my computer finally works again! XD Hip, Hip, Horray!!!

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, My computer's internet stopped working about two or three months ago, but all the other computers in our house were fine. At one point we took it to BestBuy to see if they could figure out what was wrong. They worked on it for over an hour, but they couldn't figure out what it was and said it would probably be best to just reset my laptop back to it's original setings (A.K.A completely erase everything I had on it and stuff), but we had to get some special disk to do that and the disc would have been $30. So my mom decided that we would just wait to see if it started working on it's own. Well it never did. Anyway, last weekend we went to my dad's house and my mom decided we should bring my laptop because his room mate is really good with computers. So then he worked on it for an hour or so and he couldn't figure out what it was either. Then he turned the safty or something on and it suddenly started working. So he gave it to me and then he said that he thought it might be my anti-virus and that if my internet stopped working again to try deleting the program. So that night I turned my computer off and when I tried to get on the next day it wasn't working again. So I did what he said and IT WORKED. My dad's room mate said "It just took it's job to seriously and decided that I wouldn't have to worry about virusses if I could never get on the internet." XD

So, yea, as a warning to all who might read this.

IF YOU HAVE AN Emachines LAPTOP WITH WINDOWS VISTA(not really sure if that had anything to do with it, but still...)DO NOT BUY TREND MICRO AS YOUR ANTI-VIRUS, IT MIGHT MAKE IT SO THAT YOU CAN'T GET ON THE INTERNET.

So yea, This is acctually late since it was fixed last week end, but I was so happy I forgot to post about it. And now that I don't have the excuse that my mom took her laptop from me, I promise to be on the chatbox more often. ^^
